Electrical Discharge Machining, or EDM, is an innovative manufacturing process consisting of two electrodes passing electrical discharge through a piece of conductive metal. The strength of the electrical discharge cuts the material and carves shapes quickly and with high accuracy.

We specialise in EDM and ensure all our projects are completed to exceptionally high standards, delivered on time and finished within budget. We have over 25 years experience in EDM applications and have provided our high quality service to a wide array of industry sectors.

EDM wire erosion offers greater accuracy and improved economic value compared to traditional EDM techniques. EDM wire erosion provides accuracy between 0.004mm and 0.040mm. We erode all conductive materials from aluminium through to sold carbide and hardened tool steels. We also specialise in processing rare earth materials such as polycrystalline diamond.

Spark erosion can also offer a greater level of accuracy than other conventional machining techniques and we are experts when it comes to handling products varying in weight.

Our spark erosion work is often called upon to rescue work pieces when a tap or drill has broken and can not be removed using any other method. Our spark eroder facilities can usually remove any embedded stud providing a cost-effective alternative to scrapping a piece of work.
