• The company specialises in providing the industry’s largest diameter range of Spring Wires (1mm to 20mm) available today.

• Wires can be manufactured either to international specifications (EN10270-3 or BS2056), or specific customer requirements.

• Standard grades are 302, 316, 316Ti, 17/7PH, Duplex 2205, 904L, X-750, PB102, PB103. Additional grades are available on request.

• Superior Spring Wire feed properties achieved from ‘Foxcoat BF’, a borax free wire coating providing minimal friction during spring manufacturing.

• Package weights can range from 15kgs to 1 tonne, utilising a variety of feed options including coil, reel, former, and ‘Z’ Packs.

The in-house Spring Wire testing laboratory is the most advanced in the industry, ensuring exceptionally consistent product is sent out to the customer, as well as helping them in 'new product development programs' and Spring Wire 'fault identification and comparisons'. Spring Wire Testing Services can cover the following areas;

• FRACMAT Spring Wire Coilability Analysis - Developed by the Institute of Spring Technology, this is the pre-eminent test of a spring wires suitability for consistent spring manufacturer, exceeding basic tensile testing.

• Coating Analysis - The identification of coating inconsistency, weights, and suitability.

• Mechanical Analysis - Tensile, Proof Stress.

• Wire Feed Analysis - Cast, Helix, Diameter.

• Surface Defect Analysis - Optical Microscopy including macro and micro imaging.

• Spring Failure Analysis - SEM external analysis available.

• Wires can be manufactured either to international specifications, or specific customer requirements.
