Complete DIN-rail assemblies to individual customer specifications including cutting to size slotted and un-slotted DIN Rail and using component DIN parts from manufacturers such as: - Allen Bradley, Entrelec, Imo, Phoenix Contact, Wago, Weidmuller, Wieland, etc. Connect-2 Technology’s service affords customers the opportunity to make considerable savings in terms of production labour, procurement and the inventory costs associated with stocking din rail hardware. Customers purchase just the complete final DIN-rail assembly under a single part number as opposed to ordering and stocking multiple individual components. The cost savings associated with a lower stock holding and reduced material waste taken together with overall production labour savings are significant.

Both flat braid and round braid options are available with numerous termination options possible to meet your exact requirements. Flexible braid assemblies are above all suitable for applications where vibration or movement is likely to occur - for example aerospace, defence, production equipment, transportation, control panels, door panels, etc.  We can provide a wide range of termination options in either flat or round braid to ensure you achieve the correct mechanical bond between the conductor and the anchor point, even in situations involving a very tight bend radius such as confined spaces or were alignment problems occur. Single wire ranges for automatic processing are from 0.03mm2 to 10mm2 (32AWG – 8AWG) and with hydraulic cutting and termination up to 120mm2 is possible.  Many combinations of single wire kits, wire cutting and stripping and multi-core cable preparation are possible in both low and high volumes.

Connect-2 Technology produces wire-to-wire and wire-to-board multi-pole crimp assemblies, in both small and large batch sizes, for a wide array of customers within many industry sectors. Excellent flexibility of design is provided from a broad bulk stock range including 1.27mm, 2.00mm, 2.54mm, etc. Many assembly options are possible in both IDC and IDT types including socket to socket, socket to transition/DIP plugs, daisy-chain, split and multi-branch, folded to your specifications and comprehensive labelling solutions. Connect-2 Technology can provide both shielded and unshielded ribbon cable assemblies manufactured to exact customer requirements. The UK production unit can handle small (as low as 25) to medium batches together with high volume production available from the company’s Far East partner.

For a many years the company has experienced a steady increase in demand for custom designed coiled cables (also known as curly leads or extensible cables) for both electrical and electronic applications. Connect-2 Technologies Far East partner manufactures all coiled cables to exact customer specifications with lead- times typically of between 8 to 10 weeks for initial stocks after which ongoing requirements can be supplied via kanban or order schedule agreements to facilitate timely stock replenishment.

Connect-2 Technology has been a supplier of mains cable assemblies and cord sets custom configured to customer requirements since 1995. Options include open-ended configurations incorporating stripped cores with tinning and/or terminations to individual customer specification, as well as over-moulding of grommets and plastic parts (Far East manufactured). Most country specific mains cord sets are available, 100% individually tested with full BSI, VDE, D, N, S, UL, etc. approvals.
