EMC Testing
RN Electronics provide a first class EMC Testing service and pride ourselves in giving you an efficient and quick way to CE mark. We have a team of very experienced engineers will give you advice and offer solutions to meet your compliance requirements.
We now carry out EMC immunity requirements for British Telecom as per specification GS7(Annex B). We also have UKAS accredited testing facilities (2360) which makes our reports internationally accepted.

Radio Testing
RN Electronics can offer you Radio Testing and EMC Testing and we have a huge amount of experience in Radio RF Design and Type Approvals. We can also give you EMC Testing with certification to meet R & TTE Directive for CE Marking.
RF will give you advice on the design, use of radio modules, pre-compliance tests and implement solutions as the project unfolds. You can also save time by visiting our test facilities and we are an accredited UKAS Radio Test Laboratory (2360) which is recognised worldwide.

Safety Testing
RN offer a days, Basic Safety Assessment (BSA) at very competitive cost and gives you a fantastic starting point from the ground up.
The Safety Testing includes:
- Mechanical, thermal and electrical hazard assessment
- Visual inspection for clearance and creepage, safe construction and live parts access
- Labelling and paperwork requirements
- Key tests for earth bond, insulation strength, input current, touch current, plug discharge and rises in temperatures.
The whole point of Safety Testing is to self certify yourself and we give you a report for results and help you change any aspects that the product needs. The report is used to then self certify your product with the CE mark.
LVD
RN Electronics gives you exceptional EMC testing service, rapid turnaround and problem solving to meet all your requirements.
We specialise in EMC and LVD (Radio and Safety testing) and will give you advice on legal issues around CE marking.
RN will provide a complete solution for your LVD testing from the ground up from design all the way through to production.
Energy Efficiency Testing
So that you can meet the requirements for Europe, Canada and California we offer appliance Energy Efficiency Testing.
The ErP directive requires several measures, one being that manufacturers are meant to provide the lowest energy usage in offline and standby modes.

RN Electronics will help you meet EMC requirements, usually in the form of troubleshooting, but we understand that longer term or trial and error solutions may be needed. In answer to these requirements we have EMC Equipment Hire which means you use them on your own site.
