News... CVD Diamond Viewports range now available
TSL supply a range of AR coated viewports and viewport assemblies. Coatings range from single 1 QWOT to Multi-layer Broad Band on standard DN (CF) Kodial glass viewports. More specialist assemblies including Sapphire, Quartz etc. also available. Viewports with ITO coatings and Lead Glass assemblies for X-ray shielding also available as standard.

Vacuum Viewports:TSL supply a range of AR coated viewports and viewport assemblies. Coatings range from single 1 QWOT to Multi-layer Broad Band on standard DN (CF) Kodial glass viewports. More specialist assemblies including Sapphire, quartz etc. also available.Viewports with ITO coatings and Lead Glass assemblies for X-ray shielding also available as standard.
RHEED Screens: ITO coated viewports can be provided with a layer of phosphor for RHEED applications. A range of phosphors are available.
X-ray anode Re-recoats: TSL can supply new anodes to customer drawings or re-coat existing anodes for XPS X-ray sources. TSL has developed a technique for plasma depositing thick layers of Al,Mg Zr etc. that have good adherence and that maintain spectral purity.
Scintillators: TSL supply a range of scintillators for electron microscopes. These high resolution components can be either Al backed or simply coated on to ITO. Various phosphors available.
Neutral Density Filter Wheels: Torr Scientific make Neutral Density Filter Wheels in a range of sizes from 50mm f to 100mm f, and with differing optical densities 0-1, 0-2, and 0-3.
Maldi TOF detectors: Torr Scientific have a designed a new Ion Time-of-Flight Detector for use, for example in time-of-flight mass spectrometers such as MALDI instruments.
COATING FOR EMC: Thin films of virtually any metal can be deposited uniformly over complex shapes. Virtually any plastic, ceramic or glass substrate can be coated.
