A-SERIES is an advanced product that is ideal for all general purpose applications where durability and flexibility is required. With an all PVC construction, A-SERIES offers all round protection and facilitates fast insertion of the cables (thanks to its smooth inner bore).

Wiring Accessories
These connection boxes are available either complete with a 15A termination block or empty, and in a variety of different colours.
Retractable Coiled Cables
Flex-It are able to provide:-
- A bespoke service which includes initial prototypes through to long or short runs of custom designed cabling to meet specific customer requirements.
- Current maximum closed coil length is 1 metre, however we are currently in the process of developing 2 and 3 metre closed coil lengths – please enquire for further details.

As well as manufacturing the coiled cables, our wide range of precision stripping and crimping machines allow us to offer a number of different end preparation services, including simple sheath stripping, core stripping, tinning or termination with ferrules/crimps.
IP Ratings
EN 60529 outlines an international classification system for the sealing effectiveness of enclosures of electrical equipment against the intrusion into the equipment of foreign bodies (i.e. tools, dust, fingers) and moisture. This classification system utilizes the letters "IP" (Ingress Protection) followed by two digits.
1st Digit - Protection Against Solids
The first digit of the IP code indicates the degree that persons are protected against contact with moving parts (other than smooth rotating shafts, etc.) and the degree that equipment is protected against solid foreign bodies intruding into an enclosure.
2nd Digit - Protection Against Water
The second digit indicates the degree of protection of the equipment inside the enclosure against the harmful entry of various forms of moisture (e.g. dripping, spraying, submersion, etc.)
