Single use security seals provide a simple cost-effective and highly visible integrity check to help detect theft or contamination, indicating unauthorised access to restricted items including bags, boxes, cases, cabinets or specialist equipment (such as fire extinguishers or first aid kit boxes).

Unisto manufacture and supply single use security seals to cover all sealing applications. Security seals are produced in various materials; plastic, metal or a combination and security labels.

We supply a range of EAS (Electronic article surveillance) retail security tags, from small discreet tags to imposing yet lightweight theft deterrents. Completely customisable and personalised, the BrandLock, BrandSecure and BrandLock Mini cover all needs for retail security tagging. 

The tagging system uses small plastic arrow tags which are attached to the product by means of a pneumatic gun. It is ideal for use on pork, poultry and red meat. The tags are pre printed with brand and other marketing information but vital batch numbers, production or use by dates can be printed on at the time of application. The applicator guns are easy to use and only require a 6 bar compressed air supply in order to operate.

Highly attractive, Unisto's enamel button badges are ideal for identifying key personnel with a designated role or special skills eg qualified first aiders, tour guides and customer advisers. 

The Unisto lapel pin, seen here as developed for the NHS, leaves a lasting impression of quality. Lapel badges provide a convenient and economic way to project a professional image whilst providing reassurance of personnel identity, especially important when dealing with members of the public.  

Variable length security seals are commonly known as "pull tight seals". This offers an instruction to the user, as a loose pull tight seal provides the opportunity of tampering to the dishonest employee. Pull tight security seals should be used on applications that do not flex excessively in transit or if they do, the tension exerted is insufficient to break the seal. Choice of material is important too depending upon your application.

Recommended uses for pull tight seals: sacks, bags, cages (including roll cages), tote boxes, polling bins, IBCs, valve cabinets, ATM cassettes, pouches, first aid kits, fire extinguishers. Generally pull tight security seals should not be used on vehicle roller-shutter or barn doors as the continuous flex when the vehicle is in motion will cause a seal under tension to break. 

Unisto's metal clip seals are used for their durability and reliability, securely sealing in conjunction with either sealing wire or even simply with string. With their unique design and strength they're suitable for unusual sealing applications where a plastic seal would fail, such aS sealing hot engine parts where a metal clip seal with wire can perform.

With easy single-hand fastening, metal clip seals can provide an effective solution for sealing utility meters, which are often found in confined spaces.

Barrier security seals prevent opportunistic theft and are ideal to be used when a container of high value goods is left unattended for a period of time.

To break the security seal requires cutters or snips so the thief will need to go pre-prepared.

The best barrier security seals on the market also have some additional tamper evident features as strength alone is not sufficient.

The most common use for barrier security seals is intermodal or sea containers, sealing duty free trolleys on airlines or tobacco, liquor or ICT transport.   

Unisto have many years experience in the design, manufacture and supply of meter seals for a variety of meter sealing purposes worldwide.

Gas and electricity companies use security seals in order to prevent tampering of the meters and therefore illegal extraction or, in the case of water suppliers, contamination. 

Pictured here are some of our P8 and P10 S9 security seals with a set of crimping pliers. We can supply these pliers with your own logo which stamps into the seal itself for easy and clear identification. 

Unisto offer two emergency exit sealing solutions; one designed for public areas, one for staff areas.

Both solutions provide tamper evidence with a trackable access log system, with different levels of security depending on the application needed. 

The emergency exit padlock and sleeve is most suitable for staff areas, as it adds strength and security, and with the permanently embedded key it is still able to be opened fast in an emergency. The emergency seal and sash (pictured) was developed for public areas and is a perfect solution for push bar fire door systems. 

Tamper evident labels can be used for a multitude of purposes, and come in a variety of types, and can be used for security sealing applications where a plastic seal would not be suitable - sealing retail packaging for electronic equipment, or sealing the rear doors of a van where there are no seal fixing points. 

We supply a range of tote boxes (attached lidded containers, ALCs) from 6 litre to 64 litre, to cover all common sizes.
