With 35 years of continuous growth pro-beam are active in the supply of new systems, refurbishment and upgrading of existing equipment together with job shop activities.

Electron beam powers range from 1 to 60 kW, with accelerating voltages up to 150 kV, and chamber sizes from 0.05 to 630m3.

Production requirements can be tailored around single chamber batch, rapid throughput load lock transfer or specially designed systems to optimise process and output requirements.

From the establishment of Vacuum Furnace Engineering Ltd in 1985 by a team of ex Abar and Ipsen Engineers, we have endeavoured to ensure a high quality of service to users of all makes of vacuum furnaces.

Either based at our factory in the West Midlands or from key regional locations throughout the UK, VFE are able to offer the services of a large team of experienced engineers to provide a 24 hour response to many of our customer’s problems.

From emergency breakdown support through to the development of innovative preventative maintenance contract programmes VFE’s aim is to minimise loss of output and increase productivity.

The VFE Planned Maintenance Contract coupled with routine Performance Monitoring results in the reduction of production down-time by the early identification of potential problems and their rectification before they impact on the manufacturing process.

In order to improve overall utilisation and where appropriate, a customer’s furnace system can be linked by modem directly into VFE for detailed review and interrogation using the latest computer analysis techniques.
