Noise Control
Vita Cellular Foams is the largest polyurethane foam manufacturer in Europe and has a wide range of acoustic foams to meet the highest demands in a variety of applications. Vitec manufactures the market brand leader of impregnated Class "0" acoustic foam, PYROSORB, which meets the highest FR requirements. This together with other products within our range are used for noise reduction in industrial equipment- generators and compressors, in the transport industry- engine bay linings, HVAC- duct lining, the control of reverberation noise within buildings and sound control within audio equipment and recording studios.
Electronics & Packaging
Vitec manufactures an extensive range of both anti-static and conductive foam products for speciality packaging applications in the electronics industry. Products include both hard and soft impregnated conductive materials as well as anti-static products.
Filtration
Vitec offers a comprehensive range of reticulated polyurethane foam filters, both polyether and polyester types and post-treated, impregnated types. Our air filtration media is used extensively in the HVAC industry, our polyether foams within the aquatics market and our specialist post treated types in chemical absorption. Applications include: coalescing filters, odour removal, solder fume removal and heat and moisture exchange filters, Our brands include: Puripore, Improcel and Carbotec.
Tapes and Seals
Manufactured by Vita Cellular Foams, Vitaseal is a heavily impregnated polyurethane foam with excellent water resistant and fire retardant properties, which under high compression creates a weatherproof seal which is used extensively in the construction industry in seals for doors and windows, expansion joints, abutment seals for conservatories, timber buildings, caravan and modular homes.
Vitec offers the complete Vitaseal range besides other self-adhesive foam tapes, Flexitec- which is based on presure sensitive polymer based foam composites.
Thermal Insulation
Vitec offers a comprehensive range of both open and closed cell foams. Many are flexible, lightweight materials with excellent thermal insulation properties and high fire performance.
Acoustic Insulation
Vitec is the UK market leader in acoustic insulation foams. PYROSORB, impregnated Class "0" foam can be supplied with a variety of facings and membranes, with or without self-adhesive backing and laminated to other materials. Other acoustic foams include polyester and polyether types, Meltone faced for enhanced noise absorption performance to various flame retardant standards such as: UL94HF1, M1, B1
