An amalgamation of John Howe Services Ltd, the purchase of the intellectual property and manufacturing rights of Exact Cutting Technologies Ltd have been brought together to form Atom Cutting Systems UK Ltd.
Software
At ATOM, we don't just provide cutting machinery, we provide cutting solutions for a wide variety of industries. An integral part of an automated cutting solution is the software used to perform the cutting. In fact it completes the cutting system allowing the optimisation of material yield and to strongly reduce the total time necessary for placing all the shapes to cut. Given the key importance that software plays in the cutting process, ATOM developed a series of software packages each capable to nest shapes belonging to different market sectors. ie:

Machines
At ATOM, we produce several types of machines, able to meet a wide range of cutting requirements in a variety of industries dealing with numerous types of materials.

To complete our cutting solutions, our machines can be equipped with powerful automatic software based nesting systems, optimised for each kind of material and product constraint, maximizing material yields whilst being simple to learn and use. Additionally, ATOM can now offer the innovative web-based nesting service, CUTWEB, a completely Web based nesting solution which is offered on a 'pay as you go' basis.

Oscillating knife machines:
Our tables stand apart from the competition as regards versatility, performance and reliability. We manufacture two different lines of tables: one with an inclined cutting surface and one with a flat cutting surface, with sizes up to 610 by 260 cm (102" x 240"). The tables can be equipped with a variety of optional tools specific to an individual customer's needs: projectors to identify parts and manage the nesting, digital cameras for automatic material contour recognition and automatic material feeders to speed up the cutting of synthetic materials.

Waterjet machines:
Our waterjet based cutting machines are fast and precise and are used worldwide by well known customers in a variety of industries.

Presses:
Different lines to meet different needs: from swing arm presses, simple and affordable to CNC presses, from moving beam presses to trolley presses.

Machines for the footwear and leather goods industries:
For the footwear and leather goods industries we have a complete lineup of products, with outstanding features: skiving machines, splitting machines, folding machines, seam pressing and taping machines and topline taping machines.

Plating machines:
Powerful and reliable, our plating machines can deliver outstanding results.
