TMS Europe Ltd - UKAS Calibration

As one of Europe's leading calibration facilities, TMS Europe has an ISO 17025 UKAS accredited calibration laboratory which is able to calibrate and certify equipment to the most exacting standards.

We are accredited to calibrate temperature sensors and systems, such as thermocouples, resistance thermometers and digital thermometers with attached temperature probes, from -80°C to 1600°C and also at -196°C. We can calibrate infrared thermometers from -30°C to 1500°C. Also within our scope of  UKAS accreditation is humidity, dew point, a wide range electrical equipment, time (stop watches, etc) and pressure devices.

We offer UKAS calibration services on-site for temperature, humidity, pressure and time interval. We calibrate equipment such autoclaves, fridges & freezers, furnaces, ovens and incubators.

We manufacture a wide range of temperature sensors, primarily thermocouples and resistance thermometers (RTDs, PRTs), for many different applications, industries and temperature ranges. Whilst we stock a large range of temperature probes, we also manufacture them to customers' requirements, with optional calibration under our UKAS accreditation.

We also sell thermocouple & RTD cable and temperature sensor accessories.

TMS Europe is the UK and Eire agent and distributor for DIAS Infrared GmbH. DIAS manufactures high quality industrial infrared pyrometers, for non-contact spot measurement, infrared line cameras, for a thermal image of moving products, and fixed position infrared thermal imaging cameras, for two dimensional thermal images. There is a wide range of products for many industries and applications.

We offer a variety of hand-held digital instruments for measuring many environmental variables, for temperature measurement, digital thermometers for thermocouples & RTDs and infrared non-contact thermometers; for humidity measurement, hygrometers and moisture meters; for measurement of airflow and windspeed, anemometers.

Many of these instruments are available with UKAS calibration. We can also supply temperature sensors with the digital thermometers and calibrate them as a complete system.

For TMS Europe the term 'Data Logging' covers a wide range of solutions and many measurement variables. These include temperature, humidity, pressure, CO² and other gases, and also electrical variables in the form of energy monitoring. The form these data loggers take includes hand-held instruments, self contained in-process units, wireless (radio frequency) monitoring systems, and PC connected data acquisition units.

Many of our data loggers are available with UKAS calibration. For some temperature data logging systems we can also supply temperature sensors and calibrate them as a complete system.

TMS Europe distribute instrumentation for well established  manufacturers such as ABB, Eurotherm, CAL and West, and have many years experience of industrial temperature control and recording. We stock a selection of panel mount digital temperature controllers, indicators and recorders suitable for many process control and monitoring applications.

To compliment our range of instrumentation we also offer cases and enclosures, for mounting the instruments; SSRs, thyristors and relays; and other accessories.

Supplying these products in conjunction with our temperature sensors and UKAS calibration we can provide a complete process control and measurement solution at a competitive price.

TMS Europe manufactures its own range of highly accurate Dry Well Block Calibrators for calibrating temperature probes. We offer small hand-held and larger portable models with temperature ranges up to 400°C and sub-zero models down to -20°C (or 40 degrees below ambient). Our Block Calibrators accept probes of various sizes, and our UBC models use a range of interchangeable sleeve inserts to best fit your probes.

As with most of our calibration equipment, we offer optional UKAS calibration and surveys of our Block Calibrators.

Also in our range of Calibration Heat Sources are Infrared Calibrators for calibration of infrared thermometers and a Portable Calibration Tube Furnace for calibration of thermocouples at up to 1000°C.

TMS Europe is the main UK & Eire distributor for the SNOL furnaces and ovens. We stock a range of laboratory furnaces, for use up to 1100°C, and laboratory ovens, for use up to 300°C. We can also supply other models for the SNOL range.

We also offer furnaces and ovens meeting the requirements of AMS 2750D for heat treatment. These units are adapted from SNOL models with TMS's own thermocouples and temperature control & recording systems and thermally surveyed under our UKAS accreditation.
