Warm edge technology aims to reduce energy loss through the edge of an insulated glass sealed unit. Warm edge components include spacers such as Thermobar and Thermoflex, Interbar, and compatible fittings. Window units fitted with a warm edge spacer can have a warmer internal edge temperature of up to 65%. This can help to significantly reduce energy bills and also reduces the risk of condensation on the window.
