Thermoforming is the process used to manufacture plastic products through the use of extreme heat. The plastic is heated to high temperature to make it soft and pliable. It is then placed on a tool that will determine the final shape of the product. The plastic is allowed to set and then removed from the tool. The excess plastic parts are removed and the final product emerges.
