Why use a custom-built multicore cable?
Often, the requirements on a cable are far more than just a few wires bundled together. Custom designed multicore cables give the option for electrical and magnetic screening or the physical protection of an armour, whilst composite cables enable many different components to be included: cores, coaxials, hoses and strain members to name but a few, all within a single cable to the customers' specification.

As with Habia's custom-built equipment wires, the range of materials available for multicore use is far wider than that of the standard products. Fluoropolymers, Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LS0H) compounds, irradiated materials, rubbers and braided insulations and jackets enable the right material to be used for the right job.
