Wilson Process Systems are sub-contract manufacturers of PCB assemblies, electronic sub-assemblies and full turnkey electro-mechanical assemblies to include in-circuit and full functional testing. CEMs specialising in the auto-placement of surface mount, conventional leaded (through-hole) and mixed technology components using single-sided, double-sided, PTH (plated-through-hole) and multi-layer printed circuit boards.

Established in 1981, Sub Contract Electronics Manufacturer Wilson Process Systems is based in Hastings, East Sussex and employs over 100 personnel. Specialising in Printed Circuit Board Assembly, the company continually invests in new equipment, so is able to offer traditional through hole and fully-automated surface mount production facilities together with a comprehensive range of supporting processes, to a wide range of industries including transport, lighting, medical, defence, data logging, power generation, audio, inspection and hygiene. The company is registered and approved to BS EN ISO 9001: 2008.

Wilson Process Systems’ recent investment program in high-speed, high-accuracy equipment has increased the capacity of their Surface Mount department to approximately 150,000 component placements per hour and enabled them to accurately place components from 0402 up to QFP 304 and BGAs.

To avoid the disadvantages of resin soldering systems, we have a Soltec Prisma micro-processor-controlled, fully-aqueous Flow Soldering Plant. This is equipped with dual waves: the first, a vibrating jet, is specifically to process surface mount components which have been glued in place, and the second is a traditional solid wave used for conventional through-hole components.
