Our sheet metal laser cutting machinery provides a range of benefits to our customers:

  • In comparison with punching it gives a superior edge finish that requires no de-burring or finishing.
  • Intricate detail & marking are all possible.
  • Lasers can cut complex shapes without the need for tooling.
  • Speed is comparable or faster than other profile cutting methods.
  • Localised heat distortion is reduced.
  • A polished edge finish can be achieved on stainless steel using a nitrogen assist gas.

Laser Profiling

Laser Profiling

Laser cutting machines can accurately produce complex exterior contours. The laser beam is typically 0.15 mm (0.006 in) diameter at the cutting surface with a power of 1000 to 2000 watts. We use the latest trumpf trumatic l2510 with integral automatic loading/unloading.

CNC Punching

CNC Punching

CNC Punching machines have lower capital cost than lasers and they do not use electric power to nearly the same extent. Saint Ann's use the Amada 255 punching machine.

Mig Welding

Mig Welding

Mig Welding (Metal Inert Gas Welding) or Mag Welding (Metal Active Gas Welding) welding is the most popular of the arc welding processes, this is mainly because Mig Welding is fairly easy and versatile.

Tig Welding

In TIG Welding (Tungsten Inert Gas Welding) the Tig Welder strikes an arc between a tungsten Tig welding electrode and the workpiece.

TOX Joining

TOX Jointing Technique
The leading clinching system with many advantages:

Powder Coating

The main difference between a conventional liquid paint and a powder coating is that the powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. The coating is typically applied electrostatically and is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a "skin."
