Our Matador is an automatic, surface mounted, sliding bollard system that has revolutionised the perimeter security industry. Heald's Matador is available with a variety of operations and is also available with either 1, 2 or 4 moving bollards.

The HT2-Matador 4 has been IWA-14 tested to halt a 7.2 tonne truck travelling at 64 kph (40 mph). The Matador arrested the test vehicle with a zero penetration rating. 

The HT3-EM Matador has been IWA-14 tested to halt a 18 tonner N3C vehicle travelling at 64 kph (40 mph). The HT3-EM Matador continued to function following the impact.

The Matador Range is suitable for permanent installations as well as temporary installations, such as short-term events.

The Commander is still the world's only road blocker PAS68 tested to stop dead a 30 tonne truck travelling at 80 kph (50mph).

This is officially the highest ever impact energy test successfully undertaken on a security barrier. It achieved a zero penetration result and remained fully operational afterwards. The Commander is intended for sites where high profile security is essential.

The commander will operate after impact, maintaining emergency services access and also continued protection.

  Heald's Viper is a shallow mounted road blocker, an imposing security barrier, which to its ingenious folding design requires an excavation depth of just 400 mm. 

The Viper stands 1050 mm when fully raised and comes finished in bright yellow and black stripes as standard for high visibility, presenting a clear deterrent to potential attackers.
