Goodrich Ice Detector
Manufactured by Goodrich and distributed by Campbell Scientific Ltd. This sensor measures the duration and intensity of a freezing rain event, sometimes called an ice storm.
It is capable of detecting ice build-up from as little as 0.13mm.
A built-in heater de-ices the unit ready for the next freezing rain event.
