The IR100 Contactless road surface temperature sensor from Campbell Scientific offers outstanding value for money delivering more monitoring stations per pound invested than any other Road Weather Monitoring System.
Simple installation to any standard roadside post means no road closure and no problem when it comes to resurfacing. The sensor measures the infrared emitted by a remote surface and records that information to a Campbell Data Logger. The data is accessible over an internet connection fed by an 'always on' GPRS modem delivering near real time information.
