Datalogic Scanning is pleased to announce the introduction of the new Powerscan® PD7100, a rugged industrial linear imager - available from September 2008. The new Powerscan® PD7100 offers the highest standards of reliability, robustness and performance plus exceptional value. 2m drop tested to concrete, IP65 rated against water and dust, and capable of operating in the most extreme temperature conditions. Three year standard warranty ensures low total cost of ownership.

Unmatched Field of View
Pallets, parcels, shipping documents, delivery notes all tend to use longer barcodes that most readers find difficult read at instinctive ranges (from contact to 40cm). However the new Powerscan® PD7100 offers the widest field of view of any hand-held reader currently available. In fact, 1.5 to 2 times wider field of view than any competitor device.

All-Round Performer
Advanced code stitching capabilities, making it easier to read more poorly printed and damaged codes first time, the new Powerscan® PD7100 also comes equipped with Datalogic’s patented “Green Spot” good read feedback system. Together these technologies ensure the new Powerscan® PD7100 delivers fast, accurate reading and excellent operator feedback.
