- A Screened overflow Kit for a potable (drinking) water tank must be at least twice the size of the inlet used on the tank. The overflow fitting is a necessary item for any storage tank, and part of the water Regulations for potable water tanks these Overflows must be screened to prevent igress of insects into the tank, these regulations were more commonly known as BYLAW 30. 300mm (10 ) UPVC Screened Overflow Fitting with 22mm (3/4 ) MDPE Screened Warning Pipe, MDPE Screened Tank Vent, All screens inside these fittings are made from Stainless Steel.
