How can I find items in Stock-on-Line?
Use our normal search to find the item you are looking for or highlight Stock-on-Line to refine your results – you can search by item name, type or part code.

How do I pay for an item?
Once you have found the item you're looking for you can either email the seller directly or contact by telephone. At the moment there is no facility to buy online.

Stock-on-Line is available worldwide to anyone one with an internet connection.

What type of companies can list their stock on the Stock-on-Line website?
Any genuine UK based company can list products and services online, although you will need to Register first.

Do I have to register to use Stock-on-Line?
You don't have to register to search the products listed on the Stock-on-Line directory. However if you would like to list your own stock then you will need to Register.

How do I sign-in to my Stock-on-Line account?
To sign in to your account simply click on the Sign In link on the left hand navigation and input your username and password (your username and password can be found on the email sent to you when you originally registered).

Once I have input my company information and stock items how long will it be before they are live on the site?
The products will be visible immediately.

Can I change the products my company has listed?
As long as you are the registered controller you can change and/or amend the products your company has listed at any time by signing in to your account and using the controller management screens.

How often can I change the products I have listed?
As long as you are the registered controller you can change your items as often as you need. The product page and site search will be updated immediately.

What is a "Registered Controller"?
A registered controller is the person that holds the username and password which enables them to log on to the controller screens.

I've forgotten my password, what should I do?
If you have forgotten your password, enter your email address on the Sign In page; click the Sign In button and chose the option to have your password emailed to you.

What is my user ID?
Your user ID is the email address you registered when you set up your account.

My company details are incorrect on the site. How can I change them?
The registered controller can change the details of you company using the registered ID and password.

What should I do if I experience problems with the site / my account?
If you experience any problems then please complete a simple Fault report form. Our team will investigate the problem and advise you of the outcome.

How do I report a technical fault?
To report a problem with the site or if you encounter any problems using the Controller Management Screens please use the Fault Report Form.

Is there any type of stock that is prohibited on Stock-on-Line?
You must not offer, sell, export, buy or import firearms or any offensive weapons of any sort or explicit sexual materials. You must not offer to sell dangerous items or items in a condition liable to cause harm to people or property. Stock-on-Line does not accept any obligation to protect you from unsafe items listed for sale on the Stock-on-Line website. Please do not assume that items listed will be harmless to people or property. Stock-on-Line cannot and does not confirm the identity of users or the validity of the information which users place on our website.
