- The MFI-9 melt flow indexer is a manual unit, which allows manual calculation of melt flow index (MFI) and melt flow rate (MFR). The melt flow indexer meets the requirements of ISO 1133 and ASTM D-1238 Method A. It has excellent temperature control and provides outstanding accuracy and repeatability of results. The unit is simple to set up, operate and maintain and is ideal for low volume tests in quality control and production. 5 user definable test methods are available.
