- The TAPlus texture analyser is designed to measure the textural properties of a wide range of food products at all stages of the process. It is a fully software controlled instrument, capable of applying forces up to 100 kg / 225 lbf. Typical applications include bakery, cereals, confectionery, dairy, fruit and vegetables, gels, meat and more. Lloyd Instruments NEXYGENPlus texture analysis software captures force, distance and time during the test, allowing the calculation of parameters such as adhesion force, adhesiveness, chewiness, cohesiveness, firmness, fracturability, gumminess, hardness, modulus, resilience, springiness, stringiness etc.
