Olympus Variable Mesh Sports Fencing System

 In response to demand for a high quality, affordable sports fence, the designers at Zaun have designed the 3m high Olympus fencing system.

The Olympus panel has a number of features that mean it really is going to take the sports fencing market by storm. 358 mesh is a popular choice for ball courts as it offers a good rebound surface and has no finger traps. However, because of the amount of wire in the panel, it can be quite expensive. A common solution to this has been to use 358 mesh for the bottom of the fence, and roll mesh for the top - however this has its own problems as roll mesh quickly deforms and the ball court quickly looks untidy.

The Olympus system is both lighter weight and lower cost than traditional 358 sports systems, but is just as effective as the wires are placed only where they are needed; more at the bottom which is subject to high impact, and fewer towards the top that serves only as ball retention.
It has a standard 358 (13x76mm) mesh patern over the lower 1.2m, the next 1.2m has a 25x76mm mesh pattern and the highest section of the fence has an even more open 50x76mm mesh.

Because the panels are 3m high, the fence is quicker to install than systems which require a fence line to be installed and then roll mesh added to the top.
