Humipak

Humipak is a Westfield Medical patented product, designed and manufactured to maintain surgical instruments in a post operatively moist state. The Humipak pouch prevents the drying of bio-contamination on the instrument. Following each procedure the contaminated instruments are placed in to the Humipak Pouch where they will remain until they are cleaned.

Humipak Pouch

Water is applied to the Humipak pouch viscose material, which quickly disperses through the pockets generating a moist, humid environment that is ready to accept the soiled instruments. The Humipak prevents instruments from drying and tests have shown that the self seal Humipak pouches retain their humidity for up to 7 days.

Humipak Specifications

  • Humipak available in four self-seal sizes
  • Manufactured under ISO.9001.2008 Quality Systems
  • Humipak manufactured as a viscose film sandwich in a range of designs
