We supply a vast range of bar length, powder coated in almost any colour. We have recently invested in new plant and equipment for our powder coating facility to meet the most stringent demands of salt spray and corrosion resistance. Our comprehensive powder coating facilities provide you with a huge choice of substrates and finishes using the electrostatic spray of a thermosetting powder.

We have a special assembly facility for the on-going and contract assembly of extruded components for a wide variety of market sectors. Our assembly facilities are set aside from our main fabrication facilities to avoid contamination. We attach mouldings, castings, brackets and fixings, and offer simple sub-assembly through to complete boxed and labelled products.

Our experienced team offers comprehensive design and engineering support using modern technology tools. We can work from rough sketches and computer aided design drawings to create technically competent and cost effective products. Our design and engineering support team works with you to constantly re-evaluate design to ensure they are correct.

Together with our global network of expert partners, we can supply your business with custom extruded aluminium profiles and components, including extruded sections up to 15” (400mm) in diameter and up to 10 metres in length. We handle a full range of profile weights, and offer an array of alloys and tempers to match your unique specifications.

Edmo delivering a high quality, precise aluminium punching service.

Punching is a machining service that allows us to create holes or indentations in aluminium profiles with pin point accuracy. The power press moves along X and Y axes according to the programmed data entered, positioning profiles under the machine’s punching ram.

We offer a fully bespoke service so we can source custom tooling to ensure accuracy time and time again, even on highlt complex applications.

At our dedicated aluminium powder coating plant in Herefordshire, we offer a stunning range of durable and vivid finishes on componentry, bar length, and completed products.

Powder coating is a versatile surface treatment available in a wide range of colours and finishes.

The process uses electrostatic attraction, creating an electric field between negatively charged powder particles and the item being coated, which causes the particles to adhere to the metal surface. The metal is then heat-treated, enabling the coating to flow, and creating an attractive, even and hard-wearing finish.

The powder coating process begins with a series of pre-treatments that clean the metal and prepare its surface for optimum adhesion. Items are loaded into baskets and manually processed through a number of tanks, before being loaded on to a conveyor. The powder coating is applied manually for the best results, before being cured in the oven at a temperature of 160 to 200 degrees C for around 20 minutes.

When cool enough to handle, the parts are checked for quality and packed according to customer requirements.
