Flat lapping Facility

Alan Browne Gauges also offer a flat lapping service which provides accurate, precise and controlled material removal to produce the desired size, shape and dimensions to your components.

We are experienced in flat lapping with many materials for example: steel, stainless steel, tungsten carbide, ceramic, aluminium, brass etc.

Our lapping facility offers double-sided lapping and single-sided lapping regularly working to sub micron tolerances. We also undertake extremely difficult lapping requirements including radius lapping working through to a successful conclusion. All sizes are considered in either one off or large quantities.
