Meet the Appleate team

Applegate mainly recruits through two routes: a workplace degree programme, and the telesales teams.

Workplace degree programme

In collaboration with Petroc College and Plymouth University, Applegate operates a workplace degree programme, or degree apprenticeship. Those on the scheme have their university fees paid and are paid both for their time working and when they’re at college. The programme leads to a BSc Honours in Management and Business, Membership of the Chartered Institute of Management (MCIM) and Chartered Manager status (CMgr).

In addition, our ‘First Rung’ scheme provides support in buying your first home on completing the programme, and sabbaticals of up to two months can be taken in order to go travelling.

A new intake starts each September, taking a variety of roles around the business. To find out more or to apply, please email hr@applegate.co.uk. The deadline for applications each year is 31st March.

Telesales

Applegate has a telesales team in Barnstaple and recruitment is usually into the Appointment Booker role, scheduling calls with potential clients.
