We manufacture magnets via injection moulding process, a method of making precision components in complex shapes with tight tolerances.
Our expertise in applied magnetics, enables us to create magnets with value added features. This versatility enables design engineers to place magnetic signals precisely, giving them more freedom when designing a complex solution.
We are able to offer sampling, small batch runs all the way through to volume production and post-operative assembly.
Due to the aggressive nature of magnetic material, good tool maintenance is key to the lifespan of the tool and quality of the components. Being able to offer this service in-house enhances the productivity of a magnet mould tool.

Two new toolroom trainees
13 April 2021We have taken on two new toolroom trainees, increasing our capacity to manufacture Injection mould toolmaking and investing in this skills gap for the future of Andel Plastics. The requirements of increased domestic market toolmaking services being driven partly by the Covid pandemic and increased costs and leadtimes from the Chinese market – previously our largest competitor. This applies to both companies because we have our UK based toolroom and these new trainees will learn all the aspects of toolmaking to ensure we address the skills gap faced by many manufacturers whilst training them in house to our exacting standards.
We are also about to invest a further £100K figure into the manufacturing facility to ensure we are addressing reduced energy consumption and recycling of plastic to reduce waste at the manufacturing source.
