    Easy to use Falling Dart Impact Tester for the determination of impact strength/toughness of plastic films/sheet and laminated materials. ASTM D 1709/ISO 7765 Method A, 66 cm drop height and dart diameter of 38mm ASTM D 1709/ISO 7765 Method B 150 cm drop height and dart diameter of 51 mm. Method B Instruments can also be used for Method A as the drop height is adjustable and is supplied with a second set of darts, with greater mass and diameter. Our Falling Dart Impact Testers can be configured to comply with all major national and international standards or customisable for your own in house testing requirements.     The Novo-Shade Duo reflectometer can be used to calculate either the shade of a surface (a simple indication of colour based on lightness/darkness) or calculate the opacity of a coating, plastic film or paper sample. Measuring using 0/45º the Novo-Shade Duo measures the colour of a surface and not the specular reflectance (gloss). It features an automatic calibration mode for safe and fast calibration and has a continuous-read feature for quickly checking large surfaces. Its statistical analysis gives and instant indication of batch quality. The operator can download, analyse and store reading in Novo-Soft. It comes with an extended two year warranty which is free for registered products and an extended life light source with over 10 years operation.
