Thermobar is a premium quality warm edge spacer bar for use in the manufacture of insulated glass (IG) units. Thermobar is the preferred spacer bar for many sealed unit manufacturers due to its superior thermal conductivity values and handling properties. The spacer is manufactured using high performance engineering plastic and is well suited for corner bending on a bending machine. Staple fittings for Georgian window patterns can also be easily applied without the bar splitting or cracking. Other features of Thermobar include a gas/moisture barrier tape suitable for use with gas filled units, and tapered perforation holes to allow desiccant to breath and prevent dust ingress. A range of bespoke fittings are available including gas corner keys, gas plugs, gas collars, straight connectors, duplex centre keys and edge keys, and Thermobar Interbar centre keys and edge keys.
