Data Physics UK Ltd

The Data Physics 900 Series Dynamic Signal Analyser combines signal analysis capabilities with a new distributed real-time signal processing engine to provide unrivalled dynamic testing capabilities. The 900 Series hardware is designed for demanding field applications, and with modular gigabit Ethernet architecture, the 900 Series can be expanded to over 1,000 channels for laboratory use.

  1. SignalCalc Mobilyzer

    SignalCalc Mobilyzer
The Data Physics SignalCalc Mobilyzer provides users with a dynamic signal analyser powered by advanced Abacus hardware for fast, accurate and quality measurements and data analysis. The Mobilyzer connects to all PCs and laptops through a standard Ethernet connection, and offers up to 32 input channels, with 8 outputs and 8 dedicated tachometer inputs.

The Mobilyzer is ideal for use in the laboratory or in the field, and provides a dynamic range of 120dB and a realtime rate of 49kHz. Once set up with a computer the Mobilyzer offers a platform for FFT measurements and an extensive rage of analysis tools. Optional modules that can be added include realtime octave and third octave analysis, sound/power intensity, and shock response spectra analysis tools.

  2. SignalStar Vector

    SignalStar Vector
The Data Physics SignalStar Vector provides an easy-to-use vibration control system with data analysis tools. The Vector can support the full range of vibration tests, including sine sweeps, random tests, shock testing, SRS analysis, resonance search and dwell, FFT analysis and dynamic signal analysis. The Vector is powered by advanced Abacus hardware and connects to a PC or laptop via an Ethernet connection.

The Vector can be configured to between 4 and 32 input channels, and a throughput option enables continuous data recording on disk. The user interface enables extensive data processing and analysis, and displays available include Transfer Function, Response Channels, and Tolerance Limits. Data gained using Vector can be further used for modal and operating deflection shape analysis.

  3. Underwater Acoustic Testing

    Underwater Acoustic Testing
Here at Data Physics we provide underwater acoustic testing turnkey systems for a wide range of applications in the fields of oceanographic research and commercial shipping as well as for use within the military. We offer our SignalSound Underwater Acoustic Systems for roles that include minesweeping, sonar calibration and training, and acoustic range calibration.

Data Physics is able to harness the experience of Gearing and Watson who have been producing underwater equipment since 1973, and who are owned by Data Physics. The acoustic testing systems can be fitted in various configurations including towed by a tug, mounted on a ship or submarine hull, or installed on the seabed.
