Profile/Plus Burst Tester
Bursting strength is widely used as a measure of rupture resistance in paper products. Factors such as tensile strength, elongation properties, shear, bending forces, fiber type, and grammage affect the burst strength. The Technidyne PROFILE/Plus Burst measurement is available in either paper or board configuration. It has a bolt-on diaphragm mounting which eliminates diaphragm twist. The silicon oil prevents gumming and also assists in bubble removal.
