Based in Greater Manchester, Brian Milligan Associates provide an occupational hygiene and environmental consultancy service specialising in workplace monitoring for noise and hazardous substances.

Brian Milligan MA (Oxon) MRSC, Dip Occ Hyg, FFOH,  is a Charted Fellow of the Institute of Occupational Hygiene and HSE-registered under the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants' Register (OSHCR) scheme.

We carry out workplace noise exposure assessments. Personal monitoring by noise dosimetry badges and sound level workplace measurements enable clients to specify appropriate hearing protection, designate hearing protection zones and implement noise reduction programs.

Brian Milligan Associates also undertake COSHH assessment and workplace air monitoring for hazardous substances, mainly dust and fumes (such as welding fumes, wood dust, paper dust, flour dust, isocyanates, solvents, dyes and pigments, plastics extruder fumes, diesel engine exhaust fumes, etc.).

We carry out thorough examination and testing of local exhaust ventilation systems (LEV) for the purposes of COSHH Regulation 9, which is required to be done every 14 months.

Brian Milligan Associates have been trading since 1991 and has a wide experience of working with employers in all kinds of workplace environments in the UK. We are based in Salford, Greater Manchester, serving clients in Bury, Bolton, Rochdale, Oldham, Thameside, Stockport and Trafford. We  also serve a large number of clients elsewhere in the North West of England, notably in Lancashire towns such as Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Blackpool, Southport and Lancaster.
