    Based on a custom-designed ASIC quadrature counter, the DEVA001 interface card provides three independent encoder channels each with a 32-bit position counter with a maximum count rate of 10MHz. The DEVA001 also contains a wealth of synchronisation and triggering facilities which enables you to create powerful and highly flexible PC-based measurement systems. Plug ‘n’ Play software support for 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Windows XP/Vista/Win 7/8/10 enables simple installation and automatic configuration of up to 6 interfaces supporting a total of 18 encoders.     Based on a custom designed ASIC quadrature counter, the DEVA037 interface card provides three independent encoder channels each with a 16-bit hardware counter expanded to 32 bits in software with a maximum count rate of 10Mhz. This enables users to create a powerful and highly flexible PC based measurement systems. Plug ‘n’ Play software support for 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Windows XP/Vista/Win 7/ 8/10 and DotNET enables simple installation and automatic configuration of up to 6 interfaces supporting a total of 18 encoders. The card is also supplied with a multi-axis digital readout program which is useful for system verification and experimentation.

    The Deva 037 incorporates a dual input optical edge detector system. Encoder positions can be latched when the optical level present at the signal input, crosses a pre-programmed threshold.

    Furthermore, the reference input can be used to improve the signal quality by receiving light from the illumination source and cancelling out any disturbances present in the light signal.

    Deva Electronic Controls Single Axis Sinewave Interpolator

    The DEVA018 operates from +5v which may be supplied either from the input or output connector. The output connector is pin to pin compatible with all Deva’s encoder interface and motion control products. All unused pins are passed through from input to output.

    The Deva 018-1SIN can be set to accept 11uA or 1Vpp and is compatible with a wide range of industry standard scales and encoders.

    To support Mitutoyo scales the Deva 018-1SIN may be set to accept 2vpp single ended signals biased on 2.5v. The 2.5v bias must be available from the encoder to connect to the inverting input. It is known to be compatible with the Mitutoyo AT102, AT111, AT112, AT115, AT116 and AT181 scales, along with others of the same output format.

    It is also designed for 20vpp single ended or 10vpp differential signals.
