Antimicrobial Nylon Coating

The antimicrobial agent is based on silver ions which are activated and transported by moisture. Nylon has greater hygroscopic activity than polyester, increasing the antimicrobial effect. Effective against 99% of microbes including viruses, MRSA. C Diff, legionella. Effective against moulds and yeasts and so reduces black spot and odours in fridges. Lasts as long as the coating (which being nylon is a long time). Recognised by the Health Protection Agency (class 3 recommendation). Food safe.
