  2. Chloroprene Rubber

    Chloroprene Rubber
Chloroprene rubber gaskets are commercially known as neoprene rubber gaskets. They are a neoprene mechanical seal which is used to prevent and inhibit leaks between substrate sections. Sometimes known as CR gaskets, neoprene rubber gaskets are often used in outdoor and marine settings as they are highly resistant to weathering and ozone factors. The neoprene or chloroprene rubber gasket material makes them suitable for use in areas such as fridges. However they are not usable in applications where ketone and/ or phosphate ester fluids are present. To find out more about chloroprene rubber gaskets, their benefits and uses, talk to Zouch Converters today.

  4. Closed Cell Neoprene

    Closed Cell Neoprene
Closed cell neoprene is a foamed rubber material which has a ‘closed’ cellular structure. This means the bonds between the internal ‘bubbles’ are solid. Also known as expanded rubber, closed cell neoprene cells hold gas and prevent liquids or moisture to pass through the cell barrier (assuming it has remained intact). Closed cell neoprene is produced from neoprene polymer. Most closed cell neoprene sponge rubbers meet all required commercial and regulatory standards. Sponge neoprene products meet flame ratings and are generally continuously serviceable between -40°F to 158°F and are able to withstand intermittent temperatures of up to 200°F. 5. Cork Gaskets

    Cork Gaskets
Cork gaskets are a popular type of gasket material. They are often picked due to their high compressibility and flexibility. Cork gaskets can be combined with rubber (e.g. silicone or neoprene). Cork gaskets have a good level of resistance to oil, solvents and fuels. They are available in a range of grades which can be impermeable, elastic, fire resistant (contact us for more information on this property) and buoyant. Cork gaskets are available with or without an adhesive backing and can be produced in short or long production runs. They can be produced for a variety of materials, including: composition cork, cork/ rubber blends, cork/ EPDM blends and cork/ sponge blends as well as other composites. For more information on cork gaskets, contact Zouch Converters today and make an enquiry.
  6. Cushioning Foam

    Cushioning Foam
At Zouch Converters we produce high quality cushioning foam from materials such as neoprene. Our standard EPDM foam is a closed cell foam and it comes in medium to high density materials. It provides an excellent level of cushioning as a protective product. Cushioning foam has a good level of resistance to ozone, medium to high thermal resistance and is available in a black and white. Applications for cushioning foam are cushioning pads, anti-vibration padding, and can also be sued in dust, water and air seals. For more information on the application and benefits of our cushioning foam products, talk to Zouch Converters today and discuss your needs.
  7. Double Sided Self Adhesive Tapes

    Double Sided Self Adhesive Tapes
Double sided self adhesive tapes are considered to be an essential bonding method for industries where permanent bonding of rigid and semi rigid materials is required. Our ranges of foam tapes are suitable and designed specifically to offer customers unbeatable bonding performance. Our selection of foam tapes suits almost any internal or outdoor industrial and domestic application. Foam types include: - Materials: PVC – Polyethylene – Polyurethane - EPDM – Neoprene. - Soft – Medium – Hard density foam construction. - Open or closed cell structures. 9. Foam Sealant Tapes

    Foam Sealant Tapes
Expanding foam sealant tapes are used to provide a barrier or seal against a range of environmental factors such as dust and particulates, liquids, splashes and water, moisture and other filtration needs. Closed cell gasket tapes come in several materials. - Polyethylene foam tapes, these are a low cost tape with a high degree of chemical resistance but which has a lower level of compression recovery. - Neoprene sponge tapes, these types of tape have better compression recovery as well as chemical and UV resistance. - PVC foam tape provides users with a superior compression resistance and flame retardance. It is the perfect choice for outdoor usage. To find out more about foam sealant tapes, contact Zouch Converters today.
  10. Foam Strips

    Foam Strips
Foam strips can be made from neoprene & EPDM. Adhesive backed foam strips are quick and easy to install and can be used for a variety of applications. To install them, you simply peel off the self adhesive backing and attach it in place. Backing tapes are not fully resilient to water so you will need to plain expanded neoprene and use a good contact adhesive if you are using it where there is water or moisture present. When installed, it provides an excellent resistance against acids, oils and alkalis. EPDM has great resistance to the weather as well as being thermally resistant and ozone.
