BAE Systems Regional Aircraft
BAE Systems Regional Aircraft is a commercial aircraft support organisation, head-quartered in Prestwick on the west coast of Scotland. Under the umbrella of BAE Systems Military Aircraft and Information, Regional Aircraft holds the Type Certificate for a number of aircraft types (BAe146/Avro RJ, ATP, Jetstream 41, Jetstream 31/32 and HS748) and provides a complete range of support services to over 540 of these aircraft worldwide.
Key to Regional Aircraft’s success is its retained whole aircraft design and engineering capability, coupled with a premier supply chain offering an extensive in-service support experience. Holding both EASA Part 21G and J approvals, combined with AS9100 approvals, allows Regional Aircraft to offer integrated solutions for any fixed-wing aircraft, of any type and of any size: small or large.
Regional Aircraft’s capabilities extend to aircraft conversions for passenger, VIP and multi-role configurations, together with special-role aircraft, including airlift, surveillance, humanitarian aid, medevac, military and fire-fighting. In November 2013, Regional Aircraft was awarded the prestigious UK Ministry of Defence Minister Acquisition Award for its part in the conversion of two BAe146-200QC aircraft to military configuration for the Royal Air Force.
BAE Systems Regional Aircraft has extensive integration capabilities whether on its own or third-party aircraft platforms and has worked with many aircraft manufacturers to deliver bespoke solutions.
With proven long-term support capabilities, over 3 million flight hours of rotable support to a worldwide operator base and with many customer relationships spanning more than 15 years, BAE Systems Regional Aircraft is an ideal partner to maximise the availability and versatility of the assets you fly.
