Thornhill Heat Exchangers are a company that recognise the needs and aspirations customers demand from a supplier. That is why we are investing substantial resources to enhance our manufacturing, servicing and design facilities.

Our primary focus is to reduce Gasket lead times to an absolute minimum, as we understand that in a competitive industry - time is money! We are the only manufacturer that produces tooling for aftermarket gaskets in house, enabling us to respond quickly and pass these savings onto our customers, as we do not have to subcontract - making us very competitive!

At Thornhill Heat Exchangers we  control our Lead Times, making us a One Stop Point of Contact for all your Gasket requirements, which has gained us an enviable reputation for manufacturing high quality gaskets of every type and size to ISO9001 standards.

We also have one of the most comprehensive manufacturing and tooling resources in the industry, boasting some of the largest compression presses in the UK, as well as a dedicated CAD/CAM Machining Centre, to ensure that a consistently high quality product is produced and available to our customers - an unbeatable combination.

Our comprehensive production facilities boasts one of the largest gasket compression presses in the UK, featuring a platen size of 2500mm by 1500mm and a working pressure of up to 800 tonnes. This enables Thornhill the flexibility to produce gaskets of any size.

To compliment these resources, Thornhill have a highly skilled workforce trained to make the best use of facilities available to them. This combination ensures the quality that Thornhill's customers have come to rely on. Additionally, all our new presses  incorporate Wanson Thermopac oil heaters providing greatly improved heat distribution leading to better quality gaskets. The high tolerances within which we are able to manufacture combined with the reduced lead times generated, ensures that a consistently high quality product is available to our clients with a response time to be envied. This combination of speed and quality promotes the enhanced confidence that clients have in Thornhill's service..

Available in both new and refurbished variants, the client remains assured that all models are designed and built to the demanding tolerances that have become Thornhill's trademark.

Thornhill have successfully built and installed these units in a variety of industries including sugar, distillery, chemical, dairy, food and off-shore facilities.

Our facility in Tyne and Wear focuses on shell and tube exchangers, air handling units and Calorifiers, providing a fast and totally professional range of services. Customers include steel manufacturers, food companies, power generators, chemical plants, manufacturing companies, the shipping industry, compressed air service agents, building service engineers, hospitals and commercial laundries.

We hold in stock a wide range of tube sizes and lengths, all certified and available on a quick turnaround. We also have a comprehensive well equipped machine shop that can drill, weld and undertake u-tube bending of various sizes.
