A2B Transceivers

The AD242x series of A2B transceivers offers a flexible slave-to-slave communication capability as well as support for reduced data-sampling rates. Both of features significantly improve overall bus-bandwidth utilization and are key differentiators for emerging applications such as in-car communications and active noise cancellation. These newest devices are fully pin-compatible with existing series members, simplifying upgrade and speeding time to market.

Integrated Optical Module

The ADPD188BI is a complete photometric system for smoke detection using optical dual wavelength technology. The module integrates a highly efficient photometric front end, and two photodiodes (PDs) and two light emitting diodes (LEDs). These items are custom packaged to prevent light from going directly from the LED to the photodiode without first entering the smoke detection chamber.

Analogue-to-Digital Converters (ADC)

Analog Devices are able to offer a complete range of high performance analog to digital converter products (ADCs). These include 16-bit to 24-bit delta sigma converters for precision measurements, up to 16-bit high-speed pipeline ADCs for communications and 8-bit to 16-bit low power successive approximation register (SAR) analogue to digital converter for everything in between. Our analog to digital converter portfolio can offer unmatched noise performance (SINAD, SNR and SFDR), small package size and low power consumption.

Data Conversion

Data conversion translates real world signals including temperature, pressure, or voice into the digital realm and back again. Analog Devices high performance analog to digital converters (ADCs) can offer solutions for applications ranging from 24-bit precision measurements through to 250Msps communications systems. Our digital to analog converters (DACs) offer a range of resolutions, output ranges and package densities. Our products include:

  • Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADC)
  • Digital-to-Analog Converters (DAC)
  • Switches and Multiplexers
  • Signal Chain µModule Receivers
  • Data Conversion Evaluation Kits

Space and Harsh Environment

Analog Devices  has continued to dedicate resources in order to meet the needs of the military markets as well as ship products to the top defense electronics contractors. We are able to manufacture a broad range of rugged radiation tolerant (rad hard) op amps, amplifiers, comparators, references, regulators and data converters that are ideal for both space and military applications.

Products offered in our Military Plastic (MP) packages provide extended operating temperature range (typically -55ºC to 125ºC) over standard products. Our current products include operational amplifiers (op amps) and low dropout linear regulators (LDO).

Analog Devices has received full Qualified Manufacturers Listing (QML) certification/qualification and our Joint Army Navy (JAN) products are supplied as Class level S. These QML products are listed in the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) QML-38535 manufacturers list. Additionally, Analog Devices has a selected number of Defense Electronics Supply Center (DESC) Drawings references.
