The Edac Group is a leading supplier of electronic connectors, specialising in the design and highly competitive manufacture, and tooling, of non-standard as well as completely customised products with realistic production MOQ¿s.

Founded more than 35 years ago in Toronto Canada. Edac now has additional manufacturing facilities in Taiwan and a large new, 100% company owned, plant in Dongguan, China. Corporate distribution and sales centres, supporting a global distribution chain, are located in the UK, USA, Canada and Hong Kong.

Edac remains an industry leader in the production of card edge and press fit card edge connectors and is recognised as the foremost producer of multi pin rack and panel connectors (516 series). The Edac 516 series is a 100% fit, form and function alternative to the Elco 8016 product range and incorporates a high-performance hermaphroditic contact style. It has been in continuous use with the BBC in the UK for many years.

The Edac portfolio also includes waterproof, D-sub, RJ45 (with or without LED). V.35, USB, Centronics, and RF connectors as well as cable assemblies that incorporate these connector types and/or custom design or bespoke connectors.
