Founded in 1983, Formula Systems is internationally recognised as one of the world's leading manufacturers of infra-red (IR) safety edges for use on static and dynamic elevator door systems and lead the world with its innovative designs. Formula Systems is a wholly owned subsidiary of Airdri Ltd.

Formula Systems ships 75% of its production to North America and Europe. Over the years, Formula Systems has built long-standing relationships with major elevator producers and our technical team works closely with them to ensure our products are fully compatible with the latest elevator designs.

Formula Systems is a member of the Lift and Escalator Industry Association and the NAEC, National Association of Elevator Contractors (USA).
