We manufacture and produce helical gears. The teeth on helical gears are made at an angle to the face of the gear. This type of engineering increases the strength of the teeth because of the elongated helical wrap around. When two teeth on a helical gear system engage, the contact starts at one end of the tooth and gradually spreads as the gears rotate, until the two teeth are in full engagement.
This gradual engagement makes helical gears operate very quietly and smoothly than spur gears operate. Due to these attributes, helical gears are used in the transmissions of automobiles.
Worms and wormwheels systems are simple designs that are basically a crossed-axle helical gear system. This system however has a drive wheel with a maximum of up to 6 teeth.

There are two major types of serrations used in industry: straight sided serrations and involute serrations.
Straight sided serrations, manufactured to a 90 degree form and are produced on English shaft sizes ranging from 1/4" to 6" diameter, are used for closer fits than involute splines. Involute serrations are involute splines with a higher pressure angle.
