Hermitage Sheet Metal was founded in January 1965 on the principle of always producing work to a standard of excellence. Although the company has grown significantly since then, this philosophy is still at the heart of the business.

The company is located in a 12,000 square feet purpose built factory equipped with the latest facilities for precision sheet metal work, CAA approved coded welding, CNC machining and alocrom plating. The company also undertake assembly work, painting engraving and silk screening.

Much of production is utilised in the electronics industry in fields such as Aerospace and Defence, Medical, Ultrasonic, Radar and Analytical instrumentation. Customers include BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin, Ultra Electronics and Grant Instruments and coming from as far afield as Prestwick, Paignton, Weymouth and Bolton as well as exporting to Bulgaria, USA and Malaysia.
