ABOUT LAYSTALL

Laystall Engineering is a privately owned company based in Wolverhampton, England. The Company was originally formed in 1903 and manufactures hydraulic cylinders and cylinder liners.

Laystalls design, development and manufacturing expertise together with the companies total commitment to high quality and service ensures our products are specified by many of the worlds leading manufacturers.

Our ongoing policy for training and development of all employees includes an intensive programme of World Class Manufacturing techniques. These techniques are used by multiskilled teams to continuously improve all aspects of our manufacturing and service activities.

SERVICES

Laystall design and manufacture a wide range of bespoke hydraulic cylinders which are used in a variety of applications such as mechanical handling equipment, earth moving machines, vehicle tail and under floor lifts, household lifts and goods access lifts.

Engineering

Computer aided design and manufacture (CAD/CAM) together with value engineering (VE) ensure that all Laystall products are cost effective and fit for purpose. Design verification, durability testing and failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) can also be undertaken.

Manufacturing

MRP scheduling together with computerised production planning allows Laystall to offer reliable just-in-time delivery in volumes ranging from small batch sizes to production quantities.

After Sales

All Laystall products are sold with a 12-month warranty. Extended warranties for specific customer applications may also be arranged. Spare part requirements can be supplied and we offer a repair and reconditioning service to original equipment customers. Laystall design, development and manufacturing expertise, together with the Company's total commitment to high quality and service ensures our hydraulic cylinders are specified by many of the world's leading equipment manufacturers.
