Walter Werne and Andreas Thiel are the owners of the “Werne & Thiel sensortechnic”. Formerly employed in the “Arnold Automation”, which was founded by Gerd Arnold in 1972, they acquired this company in 2000. The “Werne & Thiel sensortechnic” as it is now called has been growing steadily since then.
Our company objective is the research, new and further development, and the production of different sensors. Main products are among others the online moisture measuring systems using the concept of high frequency capacity. These measuring systems are in use worldwide, especially for bulk materials.
The material research and control institution of the Bauhaus University in Weimar (MFPA Weimar) confirms in its test report Nr. B81/1666-03 (15.12.2003) an almost linear probe measuring signal with regard to the amount of moisture in sand.
One of the newest innovative products of our company is the globally patented turbidity/solidity measuring device OLAS (optical light absorption sensor).
All products meet the CE requirements which are not only required in Europe by now. An own development team and the mechanical as well as electronical production are under a single roof – this enables us to react to customer-specific requirements flexibly and fast. As a result, additionally to the optimal cost-benefit ratio, the company was able to assert itself on the market. We have been producing according to ISO 9001:2000 already since 1997, which is verified and expanded by annually audits.
The measuring systems of Werne & Thiel sensortechnic are worldwide thousenfold in use and are represented by independent agents in many countries. This ensures fast and uncomplicated contacts for the customers.
