We provide comprehensive electronic design services. From the initial enquiry, our design engineering team carry the project through circuit development, schematic and PCB layout, mechanical design, to prototype stage and final production. Involvement of the customer is considered to be essential at all stages of product development with our electronic design services.
We have equipped our in-house Product Development Department with the latest technology to allow us to produce designs for equipment utilising, various CAD packages and development software.

Our Surface Mount Department is pleased to quote for both large and small production runs, including initial prototype boards. If you have Gerber data, send it to us and we will be pleased to prepare a competitive quotation. If you do not have data then send us a sample board or a drawing and we will do the rest.
We specialise in through hole PCB assembly. Our PCB assembly department maintains a very high standard of through hole PCB assembly. All components are placed under anti-static conditions to maintain component integrity.
Production ranges from quick turnaround prototypes to full production runs that may be supplied to the customer on a scheduled order.
High standards of production are ensured by our strict quality control procedures, with constant testing and monitoring of the operation. If required certification of the completed and tested product is available.
In our production facility, multi-skilled staff have the capability to manufacture and assemble units ranging from small sub-assemblies to completed end products. Current manufacture includes Fire and Security Products, Machine Control Panels, Energy Monitoring Equipment, Medical Devices and Water Treatment Systems. Small and large runs are equally catered for.
Strict quality control throughout the production process is maintained in accordance with our accreditation.
Orders for the production of both small and large runs of cable harnesses and assemblies are processed utilising a full range of automated cutting, stripping and crimping machines.
Cable harnesses and all other cables and components used carry full approvals with certification being available to the customer if required. The department produce harnesses and assemblies from both samples and drawings.
The quality of the finished product is assured by strict conformity to our quality control procedures. Where pre-production samples are required we will be pleased to arrange to supply as required.
Our extensive capabilities also include repair and test services. Purpose-built test rigs and specialised equipment are utilised in the testing and commissioning of completed production items.
Test procedures, to the customer’s specification and approval, are fully documented with certification at each stage of production being available if required. Test results are archived electronically for future traceability.

GN Systems was awarded ISO 9002 in April 1999 after three years of developing a fully documented Quality System. Further accreditation to ISO 9001:2008 has recently been achieved, with the company's QMAP Quality System outlining the policy and arrangements within the organisation to ensure compliance with the standard.
All procedures and elements of the quality system are mandatory and are implemented by the company's employees who are fully trained to ensure understanding and implementation of the system.
We are pleased to extend our services to provide panel building facilities. From a small enclosure with a few components to a major installation control panel, our sales and development team are on hand to discuss your requirements. We are always happy to build prototype/test panels prior to full production runs and we do not have minimum run quantities so your enquiry for a small number of panels will receive equal attention.
Our design team will work from your circuit drawing, design the layout and wire the panel and submit for your approval. If you have your own component sources, we will be pleased to use them on a 'free issue' basis.
