Photofabrication manufacture high quality, chemically etched components from thin sheet metal. Complex shapes can be achieved at low cost both for the individual components and the tooling. A simple photo-tool process is employed by converting your CAD file. Please note, we can redraw your component if you have a sketch or hard copy drawing.
Most thin metals can be etched, many of which are held in our vast stocks, and thicknesses of 0.05 to 1mm are able to be etched. Linear tolerances of ± 10% material thickness can be achieved with no burrs or stress in the metal.
Components can be formed into 3D shapes using tooling manufactured in house for speed and reliability. Various finishing treatments are available including plating, heat treatment, soldering, assembly etc.
Short, reliable lead times are achieved using modern manufacturing equipment backed-up by sophisticated process and production control techniques. Rapid prototyping and sampling is available in 24 hours. Competitive prices are offered with rapid quoting. Technical and design advice is available to reduce your cost of manufacture.
