Fork Lift Truck Thorough Examination

All fork lift trucks must have an official Thorough Examination - similar to a car's MOT - at least once a year. The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 say every truck needs a valid "Report of Thorough Examination". All our Engineers are fully trained and have passed the independent bodies examination. PLP Lift Trucks Ltd does have, as required by law, an official Thorough Examination Manager to maintain independent accreditation.

Fork Lift Truck Driver Training

Having well trained operators reduces truck and product damage.

At PLP Lift Trucks Ltd we operate our own Driver Training School with fully qualified instructors in a purpose built warehouse, or on your premises. It is a legal requirement for all fork lift truck drivers to hold a valid licence for the particular type of truck being used.

This is an on balance sheet form of hire financing which spreads the capital cost but excludes maintenance. At the end of the primary period, the agreement may be terminated or continued at a nominal rent.
